Our evangelism team from left to right Rick Trudeau, Jesse Boyd, Scott and Patte Smith, Cody Lahocki, Ricky Springer, Nathan and Mary Magnusen, Kris Estep, Tanner Trudeau, and Robert Parker. Front row left to right Ken Fleck, and Jake Knelsen. We all came from different states and different churches. Jake came all the way from Canada. Others joined us throughout week but are not pictured here...
We just wrapped up a couple of weeks of evangelism having preached in downtown Chicago on the street corners and also having preached at Northern Illinois University, North Carolina and South Carolina with some loving and bold street evangelists from many different states.
Occasionally there are people who want to stop sinning and put their faith in Jesus Christ. What a blessing to see God move in a person’s life and see them want to be saved. There is a sense of desperation, brokenness, and need.
However, at times I just weep to the Lord for the sin, rebellion, and utter depravity that the people of this nation are enslaved to. Compromise abounds. There is so much opposition and hatred for the Word of God and the good news of the gospel. But Christ is on the throne.
I am in prayer for the Lord to move mightily and change hearts from stone to flesh. May sinners be born again. May sinners have saving faith in Jesus Christ. Lord God, please have mercy. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:7.
Here is an email I just received from a student from one of the campuses we preached at:
Hey Shawn,
My name is Ashton. I didn’t get a chance to talk to you today, but I listened to you and the others throughout most of the afternoon. It was beautiful to see people spreading His word so boldly. I just wanted to thank you all for coming and ask that you some again soon! I love listening and it is refreshing to find other true believers. So, thank you much.
Ashton

Jesse Boyd preached a message on Saturday morning to the evangelists prior to going out to share the Gospel in the streets of Hickory. He spoke on the doctrines of Baalam. Man's ways are not God's ways! We had a wonderful time of prayer and worship.

Robert Parker preaching at Western Carolina State University. University officials put barriers around us to keep the students from getting too close. My son William is in the foreground.

Kris Estep preaching at Western Carolina State. During the week we might display the murdered baby photos to show the students of the holocaust that is going on here in the U.S. 4,000 children are murdered in the womb everyday. We are trying to be a voice for the voiceless.

Praise God for you all, how encouraging to see! praying for you all.
Keep preaching! Exalt the glories of Jesus Christ that all may see! May we glory in the cross, only in the cross! Preach the foolishness of the cross!!!
Praise the LORD for you brothers and sisters. Continue to proclaim the glorious gospel of our great God & Savior Jesus Christ. Worthy is the LAMB that was slain!
Be not weary in well doing, for you shall reap if you faint not.
i recently discovered this site as well as GOSTANDSPEAK, AND I’m very pleased to say the least to see an army of gospel proclaimers out everywhere getting the gospel out. it is very very encouraging to me personally, as i get down and fail to go out and proclaim as often as i should. when i was in japan for 12 years, i sometimes worked with a large missionary group in proclaiming the gospel at temples and shrines every new years and did train station preaching. there is almost no hostility due to blatant indifference to the gospel there allowing to sow tens of thousands of gospel seeds in hearts. just so grateful to GOD that there are a remnant who are not ashamed of the gospel and willing to publicly proclaim it with boldness with fruit bearing!!!!
