Sept. 6, 2010 Believe!

We had a wonderful week going out to campuses here in Pennsylvania. Many young people have heard the Good News of Jesus Christ.  There was much opposition and resistance, but also some seeds which were sown have landed on fertile soil.  I pray that fruits of salvation will be born out of young people giving their lives to Christ.

Several brothers pitched in for us to get a vehicle to tow the RV this year.  It needed some repairs and Joe Necerato is currently working on the Excursion to get it road worthy.  By the end of the week we should be in Ohio for those camp meetings I had written about in our last post.  I believe the Lord has me right where He wants me (on my knees).

We are constantly broken as to how the Lord uses the public proclamation of the Gospel to save souls and to magnify His glorious Name.  It is a worthy message to share and we are blessed to continue to share it.  Brothers came from a few states this last week and as much as I prayed for the Lord Jesus to be magnified and souls to be saved, I also prayed that the fellowship would be dear and an encouragement to the men that were in the trenches.  Needless to say we were blessed.

I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled. I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication. What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper. Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. Psalm 30

Don at Lock Haven University - unfortunately a campus pastor from New Life Fellowship was telling people to not listen to us and to move along. We pressed on and lifted up our voices!

Our team on the first day at Penn State. Throughout the week we had a variety of brothers and sisters join in on the joy of sharing the Gospel from as far as North Carolina.

If these students are not born again then they will go to hell

If these students are not born again then they will go to hell according to Scripture. They are the future moms and dads of this world we live in. What do they believe? How do their lives represent what they believe? Will they stop aborting their babies? Are they serving the Lord Jesus Christ with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength? Is Jesus their King? We will see...

Shawn Holes preaching at Rehoboth Christian Fellowship in Allensville, PA. A message about living for the cares of the world vs. living for Jesus Christ was shared as an encouragement to all those in attendance.

Ken Fleck preaching at Penn State Univ

Ken Fleck preaching at Penn State University. Many homosexuals, evilutionists, scantily dressed girls, atheists, professing Christians who were both for and against the Gospel being preached came out to hear the truth about Jesus Christ. We only spent two days on this campus but much more time is needed to plough the soil of this hard hearted campus. They boast of their ranking of top five in the country for best party schools. Is it based on how many people lose their lives in drunken car accidents or overdoses? Or maybe its based on how many sexually transmitted diseases are spread each semester. Are we ready to meet the Jesus Christ of the Bible?

Robert Parker preaching at Shippensburg University. Eight teachers came out and wore shirts saying "silent witness" and stood in front of the preachers.

We have stayed at Joe & Gen Necerato's for two weeks. It is a blessing to have fellowship in the name of Christ. Pat Necerato and family are shown here on the left and Joe on right. Lisa and William are center rear...

What a blessing! So obedient for Christ, to face the masses! The lovers of a false gospel, the arrogant, the wise in their own eyes, the lovers of porn and filth. I was once all of those, yet God had pity on me. You, my brothers and sisters in Christ, may God be glorified til the end of the age, and then some! Thanks for the inspiration and the fuel that you provide to help a lonely wretch like me continue to run the race. SDG

At least the students and professors were kind enough to stand as Silent Witnesses to protect you.

Your so-called “religious” mission is entirely distorted. All of you had no business coming onto campuses of educational institutions and “recruiting” people with your false context and “word” of God. This group exhibited so many violent acts against God just for professing that you knew the “truth” as well as a plethora of other things. Honestly you all need to go to Hell…first class. Amen.

    Blessings to you all.

I go to Penn State University. God’s grace is falling upon the campus as I write this. Expect great things this year. Praise be to God and to God alone!
